10 people appear in court in the United States on charges of spying for Russia

Ten people have been arrested in the United States on charges of spying for Russia. An 11th suspect remains at large. Prosecutors say some of the defendants have been living in the country for almost two decades and have been posing as ordinary citizens. Russia is said to be studying the allegations but is reported to have said it finds them contradictory.
