Brussels has a car-free day

The idea of a car-free day was first created about 15 years ago in Europe in an effort to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Thousands of cities around the world now take part - either shutting down just a few streets or their entire city centre for the day. We were there in the Belgian capital of Brussels when cars veered off the road to make way for festivities.
