Election campaigning in Russia is wrapping up ahead of Sunday's presidential poll. In a televised message, out-going president Vladimir Putin urged voters to turn out for the election. Opinion polls show that Putin's hand- picked successor Dmitri Med-vedev will most certainly win by a broad margin. Commentators say that the vote has become, in essence, a referendum on Med-ved-ev alone as other candidates have received only minimal attention from state-controlled media. +++SYN+++
