German Chancellor Merkel is under pressure to do more to curb the country's economic slow down - je 25.11.2008

The federal budget for 2009 is being debated in the Bundestag today - with some new plans to help stimulate the economy. But analysts say those measures don't go far enough. Chancellor Angela Merkel is under increasing pressure to do more... specifically across the board tax cuts. However, Merkel and her coalition partners the SPD say the planned budget measures - including tax relief for new car owners - will do the trick.
