Alleged neo-Nazi indicted

Germany's federal prosecution service said it had formally indicted Beate Zschäpe, who is in custody, along with several other figures.
Zschäpe was the only surviving member of the National Socialist Underground (NSU) after two men, Uwe Mundlos and Uwe Boenhardt, died in an apparent murder suicide on November 4, 2011.
The far-right terrorist group is suspected of having killed at least nine Turkish and Greek immigrants, mostly small business owners, and a policewoman in series of murders between 2000 to 2007.
The murders, which authorities had long blamed on immigrants gang wars, shocked Germany, where anti-racism campaigners last weekend held vigils to remember the victims.
Along with Zschäpe, Ralf Wohlleben, a suspected supporter of the NSU, is also in custody. Wohlleben is accused of providing arms for Zschäpe and her accomplices. According to the investigators Wohlleben knew about the murders.
