Russian president Dimitri Medvedev has given a rare interview to a Russian OPPOSITION newspaper in which he appears to adopt a different tone from his predecessor Vladimir Putin. Speaking to the "Novaya Gazeta2 on Wednesday Medvedev rejected the idea that Russians were happy to give up rights in exchange for prosperity.. which was a claim made during Vladimir Putin's rule.
