Magdalena Gwozdz-Pallokat

Journalist working for DW's Polish Service, previously DW correspondent in Warsaw

Magdalena Gwozdz-Pallokat read German Studies and Journalism at the Universities of Wroclaw and Zurich. She then worked as a reporter for and host of news and current affairs programs on TVP and Nowa TV in Poland.

Magdalena is also the co-author of the films "Uczcie sie Polski. Opozycja w NR i Solidarnosc" (Learn Polish. Opposition in the GDR and Solidarnosc, 2014) and "Fantom. Na tropie serialych mordercow zeWschodni" (Phantom: On the Trail of Serial Killers from the East, 2022), as well as the books "Polska first" (Poland first, 2017), "Zbrodnia bez karny" (Crime without punishment, 2022) and "Solidarnosc" (Solidarity, 2023).

She has been working for Deutsche Welle since 2010, in the years 2018–2022 as a correspondent in Warsaw and now as a journalist based in Berlin.
