Berlin to host economic powers

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will host the heads of the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, the World Trade Organization and other international economic organizations in Berlin on Tuesday.
"They will speak about the state of the global economy," Steffen Seibert, a spokesperson for the chancellor said.
"The chancellor will hear what each organization does in the scope of its remit to grapple with the current global economic challenges," he added.
International Monetary Fund head, Christine Lagarde, World Bank chief Jim Yong Kim and the World Trade Organization's Pascal Lamy will be among the economic experts to attend the meeting.
The Berlin talks come one day after the economic experts met in Paris with French President Francois Hollande to discuss his country's economy.
Hollande warned on Monday that all indicators showed France was "not in the best of situations." The Socialist president also called for more market restraints, saying the world needs "mechanisms, regulation and action."
Ahead of Tuesday's meeting in Berlin, Chancellor Merkel and Germany's Finance Minister Wolfgang Schäuble again rejected further debt relief for Greece.
