Michael Schumacher's official website re-opened on Thursday November 13, exactly 20 years after he won his first Formula One title in 1994 in Adelaide, Australia.

Schumacher, a seven time Formula One World Champion, has been in a critical condition since December 29, 2013 after a skiing accident in the French Alps almost claimed his life.

Ahead of the page's re-launch, his manager Sabine Kehm said the website had been re-opened to provide "a home" for the German driver's many fans.

"We still receive 'get well soon' wishes for Michael every day, and still we are rendered speechless by the sheer amount of them," said a statement on the new site entitled "Your wishes give us strength."

"All we can do is continue to say thank you for facing this fight together with him and us," the message said.

The newly-designed homepage features pictures and stories from Schumacher's 21 year long career, including all race data. There is also a fan-area where fans can send and read Twitter messages with the hashtag, #keepfightingmichael.

Schumacher came out of his artificially-induced coma in June of this year. In September, he returned to his home in Gland, Switzerland, to continue his rehabilitation with the help of his wife, Corinna, and family.

Jean-Francois Payen, Schumacher's doctor, previously claimed, "We are in a time scale of one to three years, so you need patience."
