Minimum Wage in Germany: Companies' reactions

Wage dumping is forbidden - people who work full time should be able to live on what they earn. That's what the German government decided, and it introduced a statutory minimum wage of €8.50 an hour, effective as of the beginning of this year. What will happen now? Will companies pay it and raise their prices to cover the cost? Or will they resort to trickery?
