NSA Affair - Who's Defending the Interests of the German People?

Never before in the history of the Federal Republic of Germany has there been such a comprehensive attack on the privacy and civil liberty its citizens. In recent weeks, more and more American spy programs have come to light. But so far the German government has done little to defend its citizens, who are increasingly calling for action.
