In the US - Democratic presidential contender Barack Obama has a 4-point national lead over Republican John McCain as they head into the final week of campaigning. That's according to a Reuters poll released today - that shows Obama's lead against McCain decreasing - now at 49 percent to 45 percent among likely voters. McCain has solidified his support among white and male voters. Obama has retained double-digit leads among women and independents - two key swing blocks.
