Reform of EU immigration policy tops agenda in meeting of EU Justice and Interior Ministers

Immigration and asylum is topping the agenda in Stockholm today, as EU Justice and Interior Ministers meet to review Europe's laws in the area. Sweden set a reform of immigration policy as a top priority when it assumed the presidency of the European Union at the beginning of July. Especially in the EU's southern member states, authorities are seeing increasing numbers of undocumented migrants and asylum seekers.
