TT Charlemagne prize: A look at some of the most outstanding and memorable recipients

The first Charlemagne Prize was awarded to Richard Count Coudenhove-Kalergi, the founder of the Pan-European Movement. Since then, it had gone to a wide variety of politicans and world leaders, and - in 2002, it was even handed to the EURO, the currency of the European Union.
