TT Nefertiti: New Home for Ancient Egyptian Beauty: Egypt's top authority on antiquities, wants Nefertiti back in Egypt

She's been called the most beautiful woman in the world - and she's here in Berlin: Nefertiti. When the team of the German archaeologist, Ludwig Borchardt, excavated the bust in 1912, it caused an immediate sensation. 700 thousand people visit the Egyptian Collection in Berlin every year. But, Zahi Hawass, Egypt's top authority on antiquities, wants Nefertiti back in Egypt. He says she was taken illegally in 1912. Germany's Foundation for Prussian Cultural Heritage disputes this. It says Nefertiti is so fragile she cannot leave the country.
