据法新社报道，安迪·沃霍尔明年在中国大陆地区的巡回展出中，其毛泽东画像作品将被排除在外。为纪念这位波普艺术大师逝世25周年所举办的展览目前正在亚洲地区巡回展出，包括10幅毛泽东像在内的300多件作品都在展品之列。但是该展览的组织方--总部位于美国的安迪·沃霍尔博物馆周三表示，10幅以中共前领导人毛泽东作为主题的幅画像将从明年在北京和上海的展览中撤出。该博物馆发表声明称，"尽管我们希望这些画作可以展出，以显示沃霍尔对中国文化的浓厚兴趣，但我们也对这一形象在中国仍然不能展示表示理解。"其中没有说明是否受到中国当局的审查。沃霍尔的作品目前正在香港展出，上述毛泽东画像也在展品之列。
