A security guard walks near a sculpture of a naked man covered up by a curtain behind the European and Iranian flags on October 14, 2013 at the United Nations' Geneva offices, ahead of fresh talks between world powers and Iran on its controversial nuclear programme. The cover-up of the marble man and his clearly visible penis was first reported by the Swiss newspaper Tribune de Geneve, which claimed that the aim was to avoid offending the Islamic republic's delegation talks. Swiss officials declined to address the newspaper's claim, and told AFP that the aim was to provide a neutral backdrop at the entrance to the meeting hall.
