November 9 marked the 80th anniversary of Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass). That's when Nazi mobs set fire to synagogues across Germany, Austria and parts of Czechoslovakia. On November 9, 1938, countless Jewish shops and homes were also destroyed, and at least 30,000 Jewish men were rounded up and taken to concentration camps.
